A sound-proofed Canon 5D for weddings
| Don't try this with a 350D; the higher frequency components still seem to get through. It does, however work well with a Canon 5D (for wedding photography in a quiet church) and with an old 300D for wildlife. It's carpet underlay and duct tape, with holes where you need them. The main trick seems to be to get it in contact as much as possible, especially on the flat surfaces of the camera body which (naturally enough) will be the least rigid and therefore the most prone to vibration. |

I'm considering actually glueing it onto a 300D as a permanent fixture. |
