StorySnaps; a new sort of greeting card
| I've always loved taking "atmospheric" photographs, images that capture a moment in someone's life. Something's happened, or is just about to happen, and the picture gives a sense of this, of excitement, of melancholy, of romance, without actually giving the game away. It's the light, or the action blur, or the out-of-focus person in the background that captures my imagination and sets me thinking.
I pin such photos up in my studio and then, when a story comes to me, I write it down, print it out on a card with the picture that set me thinking....and call it a StorySnap.

How big are they?
They're A5 greeting cards, on high quality coated media with either a gloss or a matte finish. They come with envelopes, individually or in packs. You can pick the StorySnap in the shop, and then choose the Greeting to go inside (Happy birthday, Happy Mother's Day, Congratulations etc) and enter it in the "special requirements" box while ordering.
The story starts below the picture on the outside cover, continues on the inside left, and finishes on the back. For the inside right hand side you may choose your printed message or leave it blank to write in.
There are no cheesy verses, no tasteless or brash pictures, and no barcodes on the back cover. The only printers mark is "StorySnaps" and my website address at the bottom of the back cover.
Or, if you just like the picture, you can buy it as a normal greetings card, a print, a fridge magnet or a coaster. There's no minimum order quantity, and postage and packing are free (as with everything on this website).
